What information does Witty Works’ Diversifier collect?
Witty Works collects information from clients when they register on diversifier.witty.works, use its services, respond to a survey, fill out a form or subscribe to the service.
When ordering or registering on diversifier.witty.works, as appropriate, clients may be asked to enter name, email, address, phone number, company name, or credit card information. Clients may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Clients agree that Witty Works’ Diversifier may collect technical and related information, including technical information about your device, system and application software that is gathered to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services related to the Diversifier app.
Clients agree that Witty Works’ Diversifier may collect demographic information, including but not conclusive gender, age, geographical location.
Witty Works may use this information to improve products or to provide new services or technologies. If clients use our apps being logged in, username will also be collected.
Witty Works currently works with Google Analytics in order to gain a wider understanding of customer behavior and needs.
To sign up and log in, clients create new credentials.
Enterprise clients can use Single-Sign-On solutions of third parties. Be aware that that convenience also results in letting such third parties know about clients’ behaviour. As an alternative clients can use the Diversifier’s email and password registration.
The Diversifier uses Google Analytics in order to improve its services.
The Diversifier’s payment service provider is Stripe (stripe.com). Please check (stripe.com/privacy-center/legal) for all privacy and data protection issues in relation to Stripe.
We are using platform.sh (platform.sh) as hosting and CI/CD provider.
What does Witty Works’ Diversifier use clients’ information for?
Any of the information the Diversifier collects from clients may be used in one of the following ways:
- To personalize client experience (information helps to better respond to individual needs)
- To improve the Diversifier (Witty Works continually strives to improve the Diversifier application and offerings based on the information and feedback receiving from clients)
- To improve customer service (information helps to more effectively respond to customer service requests and support needs)
- To process client transactions
Client information, whether public or private, will NOT be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without the client’s consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
The email address clients provide for order processing may be used to send information and updates pertaining to their order. Witty Works does not send out emails regularly (hating SPAM as much as clients do), but clients could receive occasional company news, updates, related product or service information.
Note: If at any time clients would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, Witty Works includes detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
Witty Works Diversifier team implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of clients’ personal information when placing an order or enter, submit, access personal information.
Witty Works Diversifier uses a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit card information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology and then handled by one payment service provider (Stripe).
At Witty Works only those authorized with special access rights have access to client data and are required to keep the information confidential.
Clients’ most private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) is never stored on our servers.
These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on Witty Works’ behalf except to help conduct and improve the Diversifier’s business.
Note: Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to a person’s computer’s hard drive through the Web browser (if the person allows) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize the browser and capture and remember certain information.
Does Witty Works’ Diversifier disclose any information to outside parties?
The Diversifier team does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties clients’ personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties (all listed above) who assist Witty Works in operating the Diversifier, conducting business, or servicing the clients, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Witty Works may also release clients’ information when it believes release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce its site policies, or protect its own or the rights of others, property or safety.
Third party links
Occasionally, at Witty Works’ discretion, it may include or offer third party products or services on the Diversifier. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies and it is encouraged to carefully review them. Witty Works therefore has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, Witty Works seeks to protect the integrity of the Diversifier site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
The General Data Protection Regulation
The EU General Data Security Protection Regulation (GDPR), which became enforceable on May 25th, 2018, protects the most basic right of privacy for European citizens.
The Regulation applies to all companies that process personal data about individuals in the European Union.
The goal of the GDPR is to strengthen the security and protection of the personal data, which was, until now, protected by the EU Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC).
Witty Works’ Diversifier supports the GDPR and its services will comply within its legal boundaries.
If clients are citizens of the country in the European Union, they are entitled to data protection rights below:
- access and update personal information
- request deletion of all personal information, as a part of the right-to-be-forgotten, including any data stored on servers
- request to receive personal information in a readable format
- object to the processing of personal information and inform Witty Works to restrict or request portability of personal data.
- complain to the data protection authority about the data the Diversifier collects.
